LaLa wouldn't be caught in this dress! It's so not me, but when I saw this sweet confection hanging on a rack a few weeks ago outside the Second Chance Shoppe in Townshend, Vermont, I was transfixed. Perhaps this unlikely dress- crush was born of the cold, grey spring that had gone on far too long ans so this pretty, pretty thing swinging in the wind had an air of defiance - a demure F**k You! you to the bitter winds and snow of April in Vermont. Upon closer inspection, it was clear that this was a well-made garment with beautifully finished seams and fully lined with rich, pink silk. The tag read, Kathlin Argiro Atelier. I snapped it up for ten smackers. It now hangs in my studio awaiting a worthy Ruralista.
